Terms of service
By using OrcaDose you agree to these terms. The service is operated by Kanghoun Lee (dlrkdgns1324@gmail.com).
What this service is — and is not
OrcaDose is an educational platform for comparing radiotherapy treatment plans on de-identified data. It is not a medical device, not a treatment planning system, and not certified for clinical use. Scores produced here are a teaching aid and must never be used to make decisions about the care of a real patient.
Accounts
- One account per person. Additional accounts used to bypass limits will be removed.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- We may suspend an account that uploads identifiable patient data, misrepresents its submissions, or disrupts the service.
Data you upload
By uploading a case or a plan, you confirm that:
- you have the right to share it, under the licence or dataset terms that apply to it;
- it contains no patient identifiers — the automated scan is a safety net, not permission to skip de-identification;
- you grant OrcaDose a non-exclusive licence to host, display and distribute it for the purpose of running the challenge and teaching from it.
You keep ownership of what you upload. Contributed cases are credited to you and remain published as a community resource; contact us to have your attribution changed or removed.
Competition rules
- Submissions are unlimited. One plan per person counts for the leaderboard — you choose which — and your attempt count is displayed alongside your rank.
- Plans breaching a published hard constraint remain visible but are not ranked.
- Scoring criteria are published before submissions open and are not changed mid-challenge. If a criterion is found to be wrong, affected plans are rescored and everyone is told.
- Submitting a plan you did not produce, or one produced for a different case, is grounds for removal.
Teaching content
Writing a teaching article on a case requires being in the top three of that leaderboard. Authors keep copyright in what they write and grant OrcaDose a licence to publish it. Articles must not contain patient-identifiable information.
Availability
The service is provided as-is, without warranty. There is no uptime commitment. We may change or discontinue features; if the service shuts down we will give notice and make contributed cases and your own data available for export.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Kanghoun Lee is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, with the Seoul Central District Court as the court of first instance.
Changes
Material changes will be announced before they take effect. Last reviewed 2026-08-01.
